Built a Market-Ready AI Interior Design Platform in Record Time
Our client, a new startup called “Re-Vision Home,” aimed to disrupt the multi-billion dollar interior design and real estate staging market. They faced a significant “visualization gap” where potential homeowners and renters struggled to see a property’s potential.
Webbility was engaged to design, build, and deploy SpaceFlow AI, a scalable, AI-powered web platform. We delivered a full-stack solution that allows users to upload a photo of any room and receive stunning, photorealistic redesigns in seconds.
The platform was an immediate success, acquiring over 50,000 users in the first three months and boasting an average user session time of over 8 minutes, validating the client’s business model and securing their next round of funding.
The home renovation and real estate market faced a major friction point. Existing visualization tools were slow, expensive, required technical expertise, or produced unrealistic results. Re-Vision Home needed a platform that could:
Instantly generate multiple design styles (Modern, Scandinavian, Bohemian, etc.).
Critically, the AI had to "respect" the existing architecture—keeping walls, windows, and core structures intact.
Create a seamless path from design inspiration to product purchase.
Handle a rapidly growing user base while protecting user data and securing expensive AI API keys.
Our agency delivered a complete, end-to-end solution, from architectural design to deployment. The core of the platform is a sophisticated ecosystem that intelligently combines a React frontend, a secure Node.js proxy, and a powerful Supabase backend.
This architecture allowed for rapid development, robust security, and a seamless user experience.
We fine-tuned a state-of-the-art generative AI model, using ControlNets to ensure all redesigns adhered realistically to the room's original architectural lines.
A highly-praised, custom-built React component allowing users to slide between the original and new design for maximum "wow" factor.
We integrated Google Cloud Vision to auto-detect furniture and decor in the newly generated images.
This detection feature immediately populates a "Shop the Look" section with affiliate links for similar products, creating a direct and effective monetization channel for our client.
We built a secure, multi-tenant backend using Supabase and Row-Level Security (RLS) policies. This allows users (e.g., professional designers and their clients) to save, manage, and securely share design projects.
To protect the client's high-value API keys for Replicate and Google Cloud, we built a lightweight Node.js proxy server. This critical security layer prevents client-side key exposure and manages all AI-generation requests.
React, TypeScript, Vite, TailwindCSS, Shadcn/UI
Supabase (PostgreSQL, Auth, RLS, Storage)
Replicate (Generative AI), Google Cloud Vision (Object Detection)
Node.js (Secure Proxy), Vercel (Frontend Hosting)
The platform’s launch was a remarkable success, exceeding the client’s initial projections and establishing a strong product-market fit.
Working with Webbility was a game-changer. They didn’t just build an app; they built our entire business. Their technical expertise in both AI integration and scalable cloud architecture was critical to our success and allowed us to go from idea to 50,000 users.
